Hackintosh

Well I haven’t been around to write here on my blog for some time now… and today I decided to write something… last thing that I wrote in here was about my dead netbook. Well I fixed… now its running MAC OS 10.5.8… so I am officially running Hackintosh now…

I got to say this one thing… Tractor runs better in mac than windows…

Here is a screen shot from my Advent running Windows 7. Everything runs really smooth and I am impressed how much lighter Windows 7 are from Vista. I really like this OS and I will stick with it in my netbook for while.

Today I decided to backup everything from my netbook to one of my external drives and install Windows 7 on it. I have an Advent 4211 which is the british version of the MSI Wind U100. The only thing that I have added to this machine is an extra Gigabyte of RAM. People over at www.msiwind.net, on the forums mainly, are saying that it runs Windows 7 really good so i will try it my self.

I just got today on the mail an extra 1GB of RAM for my little Advent netbook and I opened it up and installed. Here is a picture from it:

Next step I think it will be to upgrade the Hard Drive its only 160GB to a 500GB one and install Windows 7 on it and see how it runs… From what I am reading people saying it runs really smooth.
